Install the widget on your website

Install

1. Open Business website in your dashboard and set your website address, widget name, colour, position and greeting.
2. Copy the install snippet. It already contains your business ID and your current settings.
3. Paste it just before the closing body tag of every page that should show the widget (in a site builder, use its "custom code" or "footer" area).
4. Load one of your pages. The first time the widget loads, Anchor detects the installation and shows it as installed.

If it does not appear

• Check the snippet was pasted on the page you are viewing, not only on the home page.
• A cache or page-builder preview can hide new code: view the published page in a private window.
• If your site sets a strict Content-Security-Policy, it must allow the Anchor script and API origins.
• Re-copy the snippet after changing widget settings; it embeds them.
