Preparing catalog data
Clean data is the biggest single lever on answer quality.
Outcome: A catalog file that imports without errors and answers well.
Do this
- One row per sellable item, with a unique SKU.
- Plain-number prices and whole-number stock.
- A description that says what a customer would ask (size, material, what is included).
- Consistent category names.
- Import, read the row report, fix and re-import.
